About the host

Philippe ... amongst other things !

With parents from a mountain region, I was born in Lyon, the French and recognized world capital of gastronomy. I quickly appreciated quality food and the French way of getting together and long moments shared around the dining table.

I lived for a while in Paris whilst of was a student for my advanced studies, where I meet a Breton. I fell in love with the Breton, who became my wife and through her I also became to love her Britanny region.

After a few years in the city, where I work as a computer scientist or sometimes it seems banker, we crossed the river Loire in 2009, and we settle on the tip of Finistère, authentic, with our three children in a big house by the ocean.

Beforehand, a two months training program at the AFRAT (Association for the Formation of Rural Tourism Activities), in the Vercors, had encouraged me to move forward and develop a project for an idea I had to create a guest house, in a green and costal setting, within a rich and varied heritage.

Very quickly “accepted here by the natives”, we rolled up our sleeves to undertake the complete and ecologically friendly renovation of our house, which took us several years, allowing us to affirm ourselves as Bretons, I would say even Bigoudens … Now ready to welcome you and offer you a place that resembles us, designed to take the time, interact with others, to share, to breathe, to feel good … Comme à la BreiZHon !
